These drum filters are designed to function in both gravity and pump-fed setups, with an installation height of only 12 cm above the water level. In pump-fed setups, the flow can be reduced by up to about 30%.
This PP40-P AquaForte Prime drum filter is equipped with a powerful 5 bar stainless steel flushing pump and additional gutter flush, these filters offer optimum cleaning performance. The gutter flush is manually adjustable for maximum control. The 120-micron stainless steel sieve panels ensure excellent flow and provide the subsequent biofilter with essential carbon sources, especially for very fine filtration (<80 microns).
The accompanying controller is user-friendly, with adjustable flushing and dry-running levels, as well as flushing time. Features dry-running protection as standard for added safety. Manual flushing is possible with a push button.
Our custom-made AquaForte PP bio-chambers are perfectly suited to these AquaForte drum filters and are easy to mount with flexible couplings. Equipped with rubber membrane aerators and PVC connections, they are ideal for filter media such as Helix/Helix Plus. The grids have a gap opening of 8 mm (not suitable for KNS and pond chips/flakes). The BK60 accommodates up to 150 litres of media, while the BK90 can hold up to 350 litres of media.
